Oliver Wieck

Oliver Wieck has been Secretary General of ICC Germany since October 2013. The ICC is the only global business organization with a network of national chapters in more than 90 countries. Its focus is the development of standards and rules for international trade. In the ICC’s Digital Standards Initiative (DSI), Mr. Wieck chairs the Legal Reform Advisory Board, which works to align legal frameworks for the digitization of trade around the world. From 2008 to 2013, Mr. Wieck was Head of the Foreign Trade Policy Department at the Federation of German Industries (BDI), focusing on international trade issues, transatlantic economic relations, export financing, foreign trade law and customs issues. From 2000 to 2008, Mr Wieck was Managing Director of the Committee on Eastern European Economic Relations, which supports its members in doing business with the countries of Eastern Europe.

Ana Gomes

Ana Gomes is a member of MSC’s Digital and Innovation (D&I) team, based at the company’s headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland. She began her journey with the D&I team as a Business Analyst in 2019. Her role has since expanded, and she now supports a range of digital projects involving internal and external stakeholders, focusing on electronic Bill of lading (eBL), and the cross functional efforts towards the goal of 100% industry-wide adoption by 2030. Ana actively contributes to the DCSA (Digital Container Shipping Association) Digital Trade workstream. Here, she supports the formulation of digital shipping standards, shaping the future of the maritime industry.
