Toronto, 24 January 2024 – Surecomp® today announced the appointment of Achraf Abourida as Head of Product Management to accelerate digital trade finance innovation. In support of the company’s mission to enable seamless, sustainable trade for everyone, Mr Abourida will be primarily focused on ensuring that Surecomp’s solution portfolio continues to drive compelling and consistent value to its customers by removing friction and fostering collaboration across the trade finance process.
A recognised leader in the trade community with over 23 years of banking experience, Mr Abourida has spent much of his career setting up factoring businesses across various countries in Europe for the largest bank in the Netherlands. Most recently as Global Head of Trade, he was responsible for the bank’s entire documentary trade and working capital product portfolio. He is also a member of the BAFT European Council and a board member of ICC Netherlands.
