About the Role

Surecomp is looking for a proactive and highly organized professional to join our team in Chile for a full-time role.

This position combines financial operations (Accountant), HR representative and office management to ensure the smooth operation of our Santiago office (~10 employees, expected to grow to ~20) which functions as part of a global corporate.

Reporting to - Directly to the Chile's General Manager and functionally to CFO and SVP Global HR.

This position will be an integral part of the Global HR team and will also collaborate closely with the finance department.


Roles and Responsibilities

Accounting & Finance (50%)

  • Expense Management - Oversee and review all local expenses and taxes to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Invoicing - Prepare and issue invoices to clients across LATAN on a monthly basis.
  • Audit & Financial Review - Conduct internal financial reviews and audits to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
  • Vendor Payments - Manage payments for office-related services such as rent, utilities, and property management.
  • Coordination with External Accountants - Work closely with our external accounting firm in Chile for tax filings and financial reporting.

HR Representative (30%)

  • Act as the primary HR representative for LATAM, serving as the key local point of contact for employees while being an integral member of the Global HR team.
  • Collaborate closely with the global HR team to implement company-wide initiatives, ensuring alignment with corporate policies and best practices.
  • Drive employee engagement and well-being initiatives, ensuring a strong and supportive company culture.
  • Coordinate onboarding in collaboration with our Global HR Team.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and handle basic HR admin tasks.

Office Management & Operations (20%)

  • Oversee day-to-day office operations, ensuring smooth workflows.
  • Manage vendors, office supplies, and facility maintenance.
  • Handle travel arrangements and ensure all administrative tasks run efficiently.

Requirements

Knowledge and Experience

  • At least 3 years of experience in both Accounting/Finance and Human Resources.
  • Proven experience in financial operations (invoicing, expense management, financial reporting).
  • Hands-on experience in HR processes such as employee relations, onboarding and HR compliance.
  • Experience as an HR Representative or in an HR-related role.
  • Fluent Spanish & English - Daily interaction with global teams!

Advantages

  • HR Systems (HRIS) experience such as Bob.
  • Knowledge of local labor laws and tax regulations.
