Requirements

What Will Your Job Look Like ?

  • Work with VP R&D and product managers to build up and shape our product's roadmap
  • Manage our Hamburg based product team to implement the roadmap, support delivery projects and own our SaaS offering
  • Work with Delivery Project Management in directing, coordinating, implementing, executing, controlling and tracking development and maintenance activities
  • Collaborate with global engineering teams from various disciplines and on various technologies related to our products
  • Seek opportunities for optimization of work methodologies, resource management or business opportunities
  • Manage the development of software products, including but not limited to overlooking development activates, environments design and setup, DevOps and CI/CD design and setup up, automation tests etc.
  • Support the improvement and innovation of our software design and technologies
  • Ensure the quality of the code and the design
  • Support presales activities including technical presentations, RFP replies, solution designs for prospects, etc.


All You Need Is...

Knowledge and Experience

  • Computer Science degree or similar certification in the IT environment
  • 6+ years of R&D experience with 4+ years in managing teams/groups
  • Experience in leading Agile teams
  • Collaborative attitude, can do approach and the ability to oversee multiple streams in parallel
  • Strong technical/development background, preferably with
  • Web technologies: HTML/5, CSS, JavaScript, Ajax, web services JAVA, C++ and security Windows / Linux / Unix / environments including cloud deployment, Dockers (advantage)
  • Database driven applications and associated services (Oracle, MSSQL, PostgreSQL, etc.)
  • Strong background with relevant DevOps practices for deployment mgt., CI/CD pipelines, etc.
  • High proficiency with Office (Excel) and project management tools (MS Projects, JIRA, etc.)
