About the role
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive leadership team. The CFO will play a critical role in shaping and executing the financial strategy of a multi-entity global fintech company. This position involves overseeing all financial aspects of the business, including strategic planning, treasury management, compliance, governance, M&A activities, and team leadership.
As a key partner to the CEO and executive team, the CFO will ensure that the company’s financial operations support its long-term goals, business scalability, and overall growth. You will lead efforts to optimize financial performance, implement innovative technology-driven solutions, and maintain compliance with global accounting standards.
This role is ideal for a dynamic leader with deep expertise in finance, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a proven ability to lead high-performing teams across multiple geographies. With a focus on driving value, the CFO will provide insights that influence critical business decisions while ensuring operational excellence and integrity.
Reporting to – CEO and President.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Oversee global accounting operations and ensure compliance with international standards.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and treasury operations to optimize financial performance.
- Lead global tax planning, compliance, and transfer pricing strategies.
- Drive M&A activities, including financial due diligence and post-acquisition integration.
- Collaborate with HR to align payroll processes with employee data and benefits management.
- Ensure corporate governance compliance and support legal teams with financial insights.
- Implement and optimize financial systems, leveraging tools like NetSuite and Salesforce.
- Utilize AI-driven analytics to improve forecasting, risk management, and performance insights.
- Manage and develop a global finance team, fostering collaboration and professional growth.
Requirements
Knowledge and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field (MBA or Master’s preferred).
- CPA designation required; CFA or ACCA is a strong advantage.
- Minimum 12 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 8 years in senior leadership roles.
- Proven expertise in fintech, financial services, or technology sectors.
- Comprehensive knowledge of global accounting standards, tax regulations, and M&A processes.
- Hands-on experience with financial systems (e.g., NetSuite, Salesforce) and advanced proficiency in Excel.
