About the role:
We are seeking a skilled z/OS Mainframe System Programmer to join our professional technology team. In this role, you will play an active part in the development, DevOps, and maintenance of our trade finance solutions. You will be responsible for the administration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of z/OS systems, while collaborating with global teams and supporting critical business operations.

Requirements
Roles and Responsibilities
- Perform analysis, development, modification, installation, and testing of z/OS Mainframe systems.
- Maintain multiple z/OS instances in Surecomp’s development center.
- Diagnose, isolate, and resolve infrastructure software issues.
- Monitor system availability and provide technical support as needed.
- Participate in Open platform DevOps tasks to support cross-platform operations.
Knowledge and Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive expertise in z/OS Mainframe Systems Programming.
Hands-on experience with:
- z/OS operations and JES2 internals.
- z/OS security (RACF).
- z/OS networking (VTAM, TCP/IP).
- SMP/E software installation and management.
- JCL, VSAM, TSO, Catalog Maintenance.
- ASSEMBLER and REXX scripting.
Advantages
- Working knowledge of CICS, DB2, LE COBOL, and USS.
